Alright, something catastrophic may have happened. A few minutes ago, I loaded up the single player to continue my game. After the loading screen, the scene with Desmond getting out of the Animus played. I thought this was normal because last time I was playing I was outside of the animus. However, when I got back into it to continue my conquest in Rome, Desmond immediately got back out after a short loading screen. I tried it again and again and each time he just gets back up out of the animus. I tried quitting to the main menu with no luck. I tried quitting to the dashboard, still no luck. I even left the building, ran around outside, talked to Lucy and Rebecca, still picking himself up out of the animus for no reason.
 
If I have to start over..... I can't even begin to think about that. Please tell me there is a way to fix this nonsense.

You probably stabbed too many dudes.

It happened to me too a while back (had to restart from chapter 6) and it seems to happen to a lot of people. It doesn't seem like there's any way to fix this though. Sorry :/

IIRC,There's no fix for the glitch you encountered.You need to start a new file.

Happened to me to, Ubisoft know of the problem and have decided not to patch it at all. Guess if they ignore the problem they don't have to worry about it. Unfortunately you will probably have to restart the game, that's what I at to do. Sucks I know! 
 
Whatever you do! DO NOT CLOSE THE GAME DOWN OUTSIDE OF THE ANIMUS, THAT'S WHAT CAUSES THE BUG. Always quit the game when inside the animus as Ezio. 

Wauw that's pretty bad and fuck Ubisoft for not fixing it. If you release a game that is basically broken then it's your responsibility to fix it. The last people that should suffer is those who bought their fuckin' game!
