A pretty solid game

Assassins Creed is a game which got alot of hate after it was released. The main problem was the game wasn't varied enough. You do the same missions over and over again. Which you do, but the game itself isn't that bad. The story is pretty good. The twist is revealed at the beginning of the game. When you play as Desmond the gameplay slows down alot. But once you get back to Altair. The gameplay speeds up.
 
The enviorments in this game are fantastic. The deveplopers did a very nice job with graphics. The missions are repetitive. But playing the game in small doses should make the experince more enjoyable. 
 
The game should last around 8-12 hours depending on how much you want to do in the game. It's not as good, as it could of been. But the game itself is a pretty solid game.

Hard to really comment on the game to a sufficient level without giving too much of the storyline away for those who have yet to experience the majority of the game, but I'll give it a whirl. The majority of the game is set in 1191, during the third crusade in the holy land. You play the character Altaïr, an assassin after an artifact that the Knights Templar are searching for. Assassin’s Creed is a third-person, Third Crusades-inspired, conspiracy-laden, sandbox-styled, stealth-oriented, action-filled, anti-religious, virtual reality simulating, preachy adventure game.
