For cooperative multiplayer games that use asymmetric gameplay mechanics refer to the asymmetric co-op page.
ZombiU
Zombie Master in action.Asymmetric Gameplay in ZombiU is used in what initially might seem like a standard Capture the Flag mode. One player uses the Wii U's Pro Controller to play the game like a normal FPS-experience, trying to capture the flag. The second player is using the Wii U GamePad as the Zombie Master with a top-down view of the map on the touch screen. Player two controls the zombie hordes that attack player one without the latter having any idea what exactly the former is doing. Basically, both players are playing a completely different type of game against each other.
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
Tingle's Totally Terrific Tuner ... ThingWith the help of the GCN-GBA-Connectivity feature it is possible for the player to make use of the asymmetric gameplay in The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker without the need for an additional human player. By connecting the Game Boy Advance to the GameCube via link cable, the player can collect the Tingle Tuner which enables the GBA to be used to drop bombs in a small area around Link. Since, inside the game fiction, Link is controlling the device himself, both Link and the Tingle Tuner cannot be controlled at the same time.
