The sequel to Atlus's original fighting game ups the ante on its bizarre humor and makes each fight resemble a stage performance.
A direct sequel to the original Shin Megami Tensei. It was released on the Super Famicom in 1994.
A Kabuki theater-themed RPG for the Super Famicom. The game was developed by RED Entertainment, best known for their Tengai Makyou (Far East of Eden) and Sakura Wars series.
An early turn-based SRPG spinoff of the Megami Tensei series released exclusively in Japan for the SNES. Although reminiscent of Nintendo series such as Famicom Wars and Fire Emblem, Majin Tensei still retains many defining Megami Tensei features such as demon summoning and lunar cycles.
Challenge The Lord Almighty in this puzzle game.
The first in Atlus's signature fighting game series, featuring a competition (that gets more bizarre as the series goes on) where all of the combatants are descendants of the same bloodline.
The second installment in the Last Bible series, originally released for the Game Boy and later ported to the GBC. Unlike it's predecessor, released in the west as "Revelations: The Demon Slayer", Last Bible II has never received an official English translation.
Run Sabre is a side-scrolling action game, much in the same vein of Strider. The player can assume the role of Allen or Sheena and fight through five stages through a futuristic Earth that has been conquered by genetic mutants and the evil scientist that created them.
The final game in Atlus's mahjong trilogy, starring a trio of pretty gals called the "Saver Angels".
In Ogre Battle the conquered peoples of the old kingdoms live under constant persecution by the Zetegenian Empire. Take control of the rebel army and face the Black Queen and her legions.
Take possession of your enemy's body in this early Atlus scrolling shooter with an enemy-capture mechanic.
A portable spinoff of Atlus' Megami Tensei series.
The inaugural entry in the Shin Megami Tensei series and successor to Megami Tensei I and II on the Famicom. It follows a young man who must prove himself a hero after the opening of a demonic gate in Tokyo and the city's subsequent nuclear destruction.
A Japan-only beat-em-up, based on the anime of the same name. Originally, an American release was planned (to be titled Metal Jack: Armored Police), but this version was eventually cancelled. Kikou Keisatsu Metal Jack was also released for the Game Boy. It was developed by KID and published by Takara.
A two-part sequel to Atlus's detective-themed riichi mahjong game Jantei Monogatari, Uchuu Tantei Diban switches the theme to heavy sci-fi set in the space-faring future of 1997.
Amazing Tater is the sequel to Kwirk and sees another walking food item pushing blocks and committing suicide when a puzzle is made unwinnable. It is an early Atlus release and was known as Puzzle Boy II in Japan.
Wacky Races on the NES is a side-scroller instead of a racing game! Muttley has to run across the world to save Dick Dastardly.
A wicked sorceress wants to take over the world via her 12 Zodiac minions. Can a pink slinky like character defeat them and foil her evil plans? This game was called "Mesopotamia" in Japan.
Follow the adventures of a cat named Willy as he rescues his girlfriend, Jill, from the paws of Muggsy and his dog mafia in this early Atlus release for the NES.
An early Atlus release when they were just as obsessed with anthropomorphized food as with demons. Go "tubin'" with the gnarly potato Spud as he saves a tomato princess from an evil tower.
CosmoTank puts you at the controls of a powerful future tank. Fight top-down overland battles, explore dungeons in first-person and transform into a starfighter to travel to new worlds!
