The armored suit is in every version of the game. This pre-order 'bonus code' simply lets you unlock it at the start without having to play through the game and unlock or upgrade to it mid-game.

Sounds like Wal-Mart is either taking advantage of the uninformed, or pandering to the lazy. I prefer to be neither.

@strangeling: Actually it is more Eidos's fault. On the official UK version of the Batman game site they had play.com (UK online retailer) listed with the same bonus for pre-ordering. After much anger in the forums someone from the Staff cleared it up, the armoured suit is in every version of the game on every platform. Just certain retailers will be providing a 'bonus code' for players to unlock it early at the start of the game. But everyone will be able to unlock it ingame by playing anyway.

The anger was really because the wording of this pre-order bonus made it sound like Collector's Edition buyers were getting shafted. However since the above mentioned confusion was cleared up play.com has all version (regular + CE) on all platforms of the game listed as providing a 'bonus code to unlock the armoured batsuit'.

So it shouldn't worry where you pre-order it from.
