    I bought it on steam GOTY edition 
    can't load the launcher 
    running from the file location gives me a 'Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D.Manager' error message 
     
    I'm running Windows 7 64bit, Nvidia Geforce GTX 285 with all the latest drivers for the card, DirectX, PhysX and .NET Framework 
     
    Anyone had these problems and has a fix?

    I've scoured the net after seeing your topic and this is the only thing I can think of that you haven't tried.

    I found a link in another forum that pointed to the above link as a possible solution to the problem you're having even for the full game, not just the demo.
