If anyone that doesn't care at all happens to get a key... feel free to take pity upon me and share it with me D:
Battlefield 3
Game » consists of 15 releases. Released Oct 25, 2011
Battlefield 3 is DICE's third numerical installment in the Battlefield franchise. It features a single player and co-operative campaign, as well as an extensive multiplayer component.
Anyone got the key? 'Cause I did!
RAAAGGGEEE
Maybe if EA's account system had worked I'd have the appropriate veteran level and a higher chance of getting an invite.
but if there are any spares...
I don't have a key. :( The way it looks like though, sounds like they're just throwing them out there, so with any luck maybe I'll get one for no reason too.
didnt meet the criteria ... darn ... as everyone else who didn't get in: if you got a spare key feel free to PM me.
running on lowest settings, it ran like shit, but playable enough
this game is fucking amazing, if it wasn't for the few features that need to be added and the ones taken out, i'd call it perfect
cant wait for my pc upgrade

So you're OK with the 3D spotting now? Not trolling, serious question.
Nope, i still said that there are some features that need to go and some that need to be brought back. The game is not as great as it should be and does not promote teamwork very well, the killing is ridiculously easy and the spotting is preposterous.@Ahmad_Metallic said:

but it is a great game, just not nearly as great as we had expected
i camped on a rock and got about 5 kills by spamming Q in the enemy base's direction and shooting at triangles. what a fucking joke, dude.

Yeah the spotting seriously needs work. They have to figure out a minimum distance, depending on what kind of scope you have, for what's considered a person you can see or not to be able to spot. Not to mention hidden people in bushes. I could see 1 out of the 10 I spotted and then I just started shooting towards the icon I popped up. Impossible to advance in the grass right now. Especially when three people sets up a firing bunker with LGM's behind a rock and sprays.
I'd love a key, but I feel bad for asking.
I'm heading out to college soon and it'd be great to play before school starts.
I have almost every Battlefield game, and I was level 29 on the 360 before I sold it, and I'm not very high up on the PC yet.

Truth, though you shouldn't really be advancing on medics with bipods set up. Should probably be sniping them :P

I got a key, that totally worked. Nice, hopefully my PC can handle BF3 at least on low settings.
There are no real settings i believe. Not in alpha. It runs fine for me and i'm on a Q6600 2.4ghz and a gts 260. Nothing special
It is figuratively killing me that I can't set my AA in the alpha!
I just got an invite. Don't know why. I only ever played Bad Company 1 on the 360 and participated in the Bad Company 2 Beta on PS3. My PC can't even run the damn game. I think they're just throwing codes at random people with a Battlefield game tied to their EA accounts.
I tried for shits and giggles, didn't even expect to get in but goddamn, I did.
As I'm still running XP, I'm off to torrent Vista or some shit so I can try it out.

Totally understand if it's going to someone else though.

I have a key but I don't have a good comp.
If you don't want it feel free to throw it my way. But I would try putting the settings to very low on everything and enjoy it in most of its glory.
I checked my email and it's user specific I believe. Sorry dude!
