I was disappointed in the sense that I wanted to see a multiplayer match, but that was the coolest tank sequence I've seen in a video game.

They didn't show the most intense action scenes for the demo but meh, the campaign isn't the draw for many.

It was incredibly boring, All the fun of correcting for tank misfires! It was about as exciting as the MW3 demo (Which fucking sucked), only in the middle of an empty desert.

Remember all those bad ass Multiplayer trailers leading up to Bad Company 2? Lets see some of that. I die everytime they try and show singleplayer for that game, graphics is all the single player has going for it.

I can't believe that they didn't show live footage of the multiplayer. But instead they gave us a linear and fairly boring tank mission, ah well at least it looked pretty.

The game looks amazing, but that demo was boring. 

I thought it looked pretty awesome.

Mind blown. Looks even better than I expected. Albeit I was hoping for MP gameplay and not a SP tanking mission.
 
Either way, SP will entertain me once or twice. MP will entertain me forever. These tanks are gonna be dope!

Seriously though, I thought it was pretty cool.  Sure, it's not storming a Russian sub, but for a demonstration of tanks in combat, I was entertained.  The drive to the battlefield could have been shorter, though.

I agree. Can't wait for multiplayer but I guess I'll have to wait for the beta in September. But it looked good.

Multiplayer's the reason to play that game, also it looked like that may have been one of the first missions which in any story should still be a building up stage of the plot. The exception being MW which is balls out because the story is ridiculous.

I think the demo's purpose was to show the new engine rather than some interesting gameplay. I'm sure we'll get a lot of that in the near future.

I wish they had shown some multiplayer stuff. Yeah the graphics looked great, but that tank sequence was nothing we haven't seen before in previous shooters. We all know the single player is gonna be run of the mill gameplay wise. Show us the good stuff EA. Remember when they did that live multiplayer demo of Medal of Honor? Thats what I wanted here.

I has really impressed with the Tech. Parts of that game looked real at times! I thought the single player looked great, disappointed they showed a 30sec mash up clip of multiplayer.

Maybe the Micheal Bay Modern Warfare is more your style. Not a dis, but perhaps you like the arcade twitch with lots of explosions style. I like the tactical style better myself.

All i know is that i gotta upgrade my PC sooner than i expected.

That's the problem with today's gamer, it's gotta be 100% action all the time. I like games that allow for a little build-up.

Cod still looks good too but I think i will like BF3 more.

Maybe not the best choice for i live demo but it still looked amazing. And for a vehicle scene, which i generally think to be the weakest points of most games, this was pretty good. In the end there is no denying that this game will be huge, especially in multiplayer.

Not only was it not boring, but it made me reconsider my whole stance on this "modern" shooter business.  I may actually get this.

Relative to MW3, it's amazing. But remember the slice they showed isn't meant to be be satisfying. It's meant to leave you wanting more.

It was a little boring, but a very good way to show off the engine, as I think was its purpose.

On that note, I was glad to see that the actual producer for Battlefield games also kind of sucks as Battlefield games. He should have died at least five times during that demo.

I actually agree, that tank battle was boring to watch, but I understand why they chose it (showcasing explosions)

I can't wait! Awesome stuff. Right direction for Battlefield. I hope that they introduce the commander/reintroduce the squad leader role. I never liked the ability to spawn on every squad mate.

I was pretty impressed. I thought the tech looked amazing and it was pretty exciting throughout.

It looked amazing visually and was miles better than the MW3 demo. I think they should have shown more of the multi-player or more of the destruction. I am disappointed they decided to go for the same story type as MW3 with Iran being the bad guy and military operations in European cities, Paris in this Hamburg in MW3. Seems like were in for another "America Fuck Yeah" story.
