It´s been 3 days full of win!

Thank you everyone who participated in testing Caspian Border with us during the Open Beta. We of course cherish and appreciate the time you have put into supplying is with good feedback. We will of course read it through and discuss it internally.

Testing has now been completed and we are shutting down the Caspian Border servers.

Well we had some good times but gues the wait just started for final release ^^

If they actually said "full of win"  I'm going to shoot myself.

sounds like they're just shutting down the caspian border map server, I suspect that operation metro will still be running

Wow like really? That means there was only 24 hours for the non-preorders-from-Origin to play Conquest?

The "^^" in the title was kinda sarcas/trolling meaning 32 player rush on Metro is not "PC beta".

Bah, I'm having trouble entering Metro's Quick Match, it keeps saying "A generic game error, please try again later". I do with no luck...

Metro's fine. I say this as someone who loved MW2 despite the P2P business. Tried for so long to get onto CB servers but yeesh. People have auto join scripts & password-bypassing hacks to have those servers filled constantly, urgh.

I don't mind if someone says Metro is just a COD clone, just know that BF1942 came before COD, but this is the greatest of COD clones if it is one, in all ways. Love the hell outta Metro no matter what I play, as long as the teammates are remotely intelligent.

Played the Beta last night for a couple hours. The entire time was on metro, the ground was invisible, and the game lagged like a motherfucker whether I had it on high or low graphics, very dissapointing. Hopefully they iron this out before it ships, if not I will wait till it drops in price and play it for the SP.

What are your specs? Game runs very smooth for me and most others.

Metro was decent enough. The clipping through the ground was really annoying. There was one game where we were trying to take a station and we kept getting killed and could not find the guy initially. Turns out he was actually prone beneath the plane of visibility shooting us underground. =/

Caspian is AMAZINGLY fun. Was a good reminder of what Battlefield brought to the FPS genre.

Caspian did lag with 64 players a bit, so there was a reason why it was behind a password.

Caspian was lagging heavily last night, until I started trying to connect to servers on the bottom of the list. Got in and no lag whatsoever. I know I won't be playing the beta anymore now that caspian is out. I'm not one of those "Fuck Metro, that map sucks" guys, I actually like it. I just don't know how much longer I can play the same exact map.

I never even got to play caspian. its gonna be a long wait for the final retail release.

I guess I'll start playing operation corridor now..

Does anyone know what sort of terrible limitations the conquest maps will have on consoles?

Also, all servers were rebooted with new server software, so allegedly the ground issues be gone.

Only Caspian Border which wasn't open to everyone since you needed to know the password and or exploit the web browser to access the servers.   Operation Metro is still going.

Such a poor move to close the Caspian Border servers.

But then, it's in keeping with their current track record.

i got lucky and got into a server for a few hours last night. it really was glorious! where do understand why dice is beta testing rush mode and im not going to bitch. i also understand why so many people dislike it. it feels nothing like battlefield.

damn, i was spamming a caspian border server last night trying to connect, got in for about 1 minute then got kicked. it was exciting! but then it was sad...

Ugh, goddamnit. I was really wanting to play some more conquest, like Battlefield is supposed to be. Now I guess it's all rush bullshit on the map that almost never gets to the fourth section.

I was hoping they would do the opposite and actually open up Caspian to more people. I managed to get in one match for all of 5-10 minutes. It was amazing. It had a fair bit of issues though. Seemed like a good way of stress testing.

Metro boring as hell now.

There's no fix for that other than trying a reinstall, I had the same issue.

I'm not complaining, since all the Caspian Border servers were a mess and as a result were no fun anyways. They seemed to have stabilized the Op. Metro servers and as a result all the bugs seemed to have disappeared; the game is running fantastically overall now and I'm having a tonne of fun. I can wait until retail for conquest.

@President_Barackbar: I got that error once but it went away on it's own within a few mins.

I got a GTX 470

core i5 overclocked to 3.2 GHz

16 GB of DDR3 RAM at 1600 MHz

my monitors max resolution is only 1680 x 1050

I really doubt that it's my hardware, it should at least blow the low settings out of the water.
