Absolutely, it's a massive pain!

I have probably played more laggy matches than normal ones which is a real shame because the normal matches seemed to be really fun

it's a real shame too as I was starting to enjoy the multiplayer but the lag makes me enjoy it less and less.

The only multiplayer game that I've played so far was HELL.

The insane lag was introduced via the patch that was released. They're currently working on another patch to fix this problem, but I'm betting it'll cause some more problems along the line.

Yep. For me it's like Lag Central.
 
EDIT: And also it took me a solid 5 minutes to find a game. Sitting in the lobby. Anyone else experience this?

Played two games both were laggy as hell, trying to go through a door would teleport me all over the place. And it's great when you're going in for a melee attack and you'll just pop back 20 feet and get blasted.
 
Haven't had any issues finding games though. Hope they fix whatever this is.

It was not nearly as bad as it was prior to the patch with the PC version. Now it's unplayable, which saddens me; that multiplayer looks really really good :(

Alt-tabbing seems to clear it for me... multiplayer is actually quite enjoyable.

I've experienced next to none lag with my 12+ hours with the multiplayer.

Yeah there is a bit of lag, but when you're so focused on killing someone you hardly notice it (I didn't). It has that unreal engine type lag that UT and Gears had for me. Still, it's so fun I don't even notice it. The crashing however...eh.
