Always a Man, a Lighthouse, and a City

Let's compile a giantbomb community list of all the video games that would be Bioshocks. I'll kick it off.

1. Grand Theft Auto 4
2. Batman Arkham City

The city part is really getting me; there's lots of games with men and lighthouses, but not necessarily actual cities =(

Apparently the Civilization games are BioShock games. They are also published by 2K :o

There is always also an Elizabeth and a Songbird.

There is always an insatiable urge to eat food out of the garbage.

Half Life 2?

The real measure of a Bioshock game is whether bank tellers keep pineapples in their desks or not.

I guess if we can figure out who the Big Daddy/Songbird is in that. Though the only real lighthouse is in the Lost Coast.

There's also a girl/girls to be rescued in all of them.

What's "the lighthouse" in GTA IV and Arkham City?

Whenever you play as a male, Oblivion, Skyrim and Morrowind all qualify.

Hmmm I didn't think Songbird and the Big Daddies were part the constants...

Ooh, and another one which I think is a bit closer: Dishonored

I'm pretty sure "a man, a city, a lighthouse" is not intend to be taken so literal.

@beachthunder: Thought it was a joke, then I googled Oblivion Bioshock. Having a hard time processing my emotions to the result.

@newhaap: Just in case it does not go to the time it is a 4:54. She can see all the different things that are the same. Booker/Jack, Elizabeth/Little Sisters, Columbia/Rapture and Songbird/Big Daddies.

I guess Dog doesn't have that same menacing towering presence, but it's still kind of Alyx's protector?
