So Brink is currently at 25% off but, for me to really take the plunge, it'd need to drop to 50% before I forked out the cash. Played a little on a friend's copy and liked the cooperative elements so would be happy to try it out, even if it is a little busted in spots.

I hope so. Might be tempted to go for the 25% off should it not have dropped by day the last day of sales though.

Still, I'm sure it'd give them a huge boost in sales (and an increased player base) if they dropped it a little further.

Personally i would advise against this 16-player console port.. There are so many other genuine multiplayer games on the PC with just as much fun like Team Fortress 2, Monday Night Combat and Battlefield 3.
    Just a friendly advice

    DONT BUY IT.

As someone who loved the premise and convinced 2 mates to take the £40 plunge with me, it is the biggest pile of crap I have ever played.

Unfortunately, I gotta agree. Not the worst game ever, but biggest letdown/disappointment this gen for me.

I already have all of those (apart from the latter of course) and just couldn't get into MNC as much as I wanted to. Tried it a couple of times but it just didn't click. Also, TF2 scares me as it's no longer the game I used to play at launch....@pweidman said:

From what I played I could see the issues but for £15 I wouldn't be averse to trying it myself. I only really got a shot at singleplayer and am super curious to see how most of their systems translate when playing with other people.

I bought the game for 60% off from Amazon ($20 and free shipping), and I don't regret a thing.  I rented the game months ago and had a blast, and I'm still loving it today.

There is a distinct lack of players, though.  I hope that it'll bubble up somehow from any type of Steam sale, but I don't see that happening.  It's too bad.  Brink really is a fun game.
