I did know about these films! I feel proud.

Shudda saved Iron man for this moment, in my opinion, as well, origin stories rule.

Yeah ComicVine had an article on this not too long ago I believe. Bit worried about what will happen if the films all sort of flop, will they even bother funding an Avengers film?

    Either way, GIANTBOMB ASSEMBLE!

Yeah I knew these were coming, and it was obvious an Avengers movie was coming from the way they set it up in Iron Man and The Hulk, but I think this is actually the closest to official confirmation I've seen for the Avengers movie. I'm mostly really curious about Captain America, that could turn out so awful. And Thor seems way too comic-y to make a good film, but we'll see. Thor+Hulk+Cap+Iron Man go!

Anyone else find it sort of odd that Captain America is out on July 22nd, not the 4th? Seems like sort of common sense...

I knew about them all.  It sucks that Spider-Man won't be in The Avengers because Sony own the rights to him.

All these movies were already announced. And Mickey Rourke is in Iron Man 2.

Thor will probably be the worst, I get the feeling that it will be treated the same way as the Fantastic Four.

On another completely unrelated note, what whould happen if you combined an Octopus with a Giant Robot from Space? you get Octopus Prime, that's what.

Spider-Man has never been a big Avenger anyways.
