Chronicle Keepers: The Dreaming Garden

Overview

Chronicle Keepers: The Dreaming Garden is a hidden object game developed and published by PlayWay (published by PCF Media for European physical release) for PC.

Story

Players take on the role of a woman whose mother is a Chronicle Keeper. Chronicle Keepers are guardians that protect the connection between this world and a parallel world. An attack by an evil being forces the protagonist to repel the evil and rescue her mother.

Gameplay

Chronicle Keepers: The Dreaming Garden has players using a point-and-click style to navigate different areas that are represented by a single screen. These screens are mostly static images with a few small animating parts in some of them.

Players have an inventory which holds important items that are used to pass a certain obstacle keeping the player from progressing. These objects can be found in the normal game screens or obtained by solving hidden object scenes or puzzles.

Hidden Object Scenes

There are a total of 17 hidden object scenes to complete in Chronicle Keepers: The Dreaming Garden. Each of these hidden object scenes contain 12 specific items that must be found within the single image. These images contain many object cluttering up the screen to make it harder for the player to spot the specific needed ones.

Some objects in the scene must be moved/combined in order to uncover or create the item needed.

Puzzles

Chronicle Keepers: The Dreaming Garden also contains many different puzzles that must be completed in order to progress. These are made up of different logic based puzzles that often require players to use items that have been collected and stored in the inventory.
