So I have a problem that I want to address and possibly get some help with it.

I have recently purchased a new hard drive and have moved everything other from my old HDD to my new one. Since I didn't want to start a new character in Dark Souls, I just moved my save state from 'My Documents Folder' from my old hard drive to my new one. Now when I start playing Dark Souls, whatever I do will not save. For instance, I just defeated Sif and joined the Forest Hunter Covenant. When I save at a bonfire and exit the game and re-enter, I start out at the bonfire i rested at before i moved my save state.

I've tried to change the permissions of the file but that did not work. I also tried to hook up my old HDD to play Dark Souls, but for some reason Dark Souls crashes at start up and GFWL will not work.

Can anyone help? Hopefully if a fix is available it will help others with the same problem as me.
