So I don't remember where I got these, but I have a pair of "traveling gloves", which I understand are the cleric's starting gloves. Except, these are way, way better. Like, the stats on Traveling Gloves I looked up online says I would have to bring them to like +10 before they were as good as the ones I found in their original state (I've now upgraded these to +4).

Has anyone else found these? Is this a lucky bug? Is there some kind of random "super version" chance for equipment pickups?

The gloves themselves aren't too important--before too long you'll find something *much* better, whether in physical resistance stats or elemental or Poise or poison / bleed / curse resistance.

If this still seems odd, keep in mind a couple facts: all classes start with different gear for whatever reason, which changes the starting difficulty (remember that naked class?). Also, all starting armor sets are also available as drops through out the game.

are you looking at the one's you get from Logan's Chest in Duke's Archives? I think his set is also called Traverlers or some sort.
