    A quasi-sequel to From Software's action-RPG Demon's Souls, set in a new universe while retaining most of the basic gameplay and the high level of challenge. It features a less-linear world, a new checkpoint system in the form of bonfires, and the unique Humanity system.

    I beat Dark Souls on the weekend. Now I've beaten it I can safely say it's easier the Demon Souls.

    I haven't beat Super Meat Boy either, that game is beyond me I think. Same with Splosion Man. Now I think of it I guess I'm probably not that great at platformers.

    Dark Souls and Demons Souls both just take patience. I'll never be able to beat, or even come close to beating, Ninja Gaiden Sigma on the easiest "Ninja Dog" difficulty. That game is fucking cheap and impossible. However, I've beaten Demon's Souls twice and I almost beat Dark Souls but got distracted by Skyrim.

    @Wipeout: I did beat Ninja Gaiden Sigma, but about halfway through I had to accept Ninja Dog mode was for me and switched it.
