Yeah i just saw that, i'm really surprised, i wasnt expecting it to be that good.

I wasn't either.  I'm going to have to rent this game now. 

It was looking like a game well worth playing before this score turned up, but this score is reassuring.

Looks like an awesome game, cant wait to play

I'm really glad to see it scoring well. I had high hopes for this game; I've been wanting a fun survival horror to play.

even though they have been lenient with the scores lately, 9.0 is still pretty good. This is looking to be a pretty good year despite what others say.

Made me finally order it. Not that is was because of this particular review, but there's enough of promising reviews out there now :).

I already had it preordered before the swell of awesome reviews came in. Now I don't know which game to put in my PS3 first, seeing as Dead Space and LBP arrive on the same day (here in the UK)! Choices!

I guess my gut feeling went well for me when I preordered this a while ago.

Dead Space has always been on my radar and I seen it was getting good, but not flashy reviews from other sites. Interesting that gamespot gave it such a high score. This is encouraging though, and I will have a look at it. Since I was already nearly certainly probably going to get it anyway, it wont influence my decision. 

Cant wait till I get it today.

It looks spectacular . I am a horror-survival Fan and I admit that my Jaws dropped when I saw  that Game , I am gonna buy it ASAP .  

God, they need to make games cheaper or something... This is kinda unfair for the moderate to hardcore gamer, having to make HUGE decisions over which games to buy.

I agree, "X game got review score of ___" There's so many of these threads it's ridiculous. If people must state review scores for a game, it should be contained all in one thread, not individual ones.

yeah..from now on it would be better if you're going to make threads like this to begin with, just get a single one started that you can edit the title and show every review instead of having a new thread started everytime a single review gets put up. Anyway I definitely am getting the game( of course it didn't get in today even though its tuesday, cuz east coast gets fucked out of everything) so while I agree this game deserves the good scores from what I've seen, I'm never taking gamespots review to ever be credible, especially by that tool Lark Anderson.

A video review is supposed to be like having a friend recomend a game for you, not having each word so carefully pronounced or expanding your vocabulary in order to show how serious you are. That was an absolutely horrible video review.

This game seems to be getting more favorable reviews than the new Silent Hill, and I actually like that game quite a bit, so here's hoping I love Dead Space.

I must say, Gamespot does have crap reviews a lot, but it is very rare Gamespot overrates a game. Professor Layton, Braid, and Burnout Paradise were all games that got 9 or 9.5 and were unexpectedly good.  So, let's hope this is true for this review.

The minute I heard about this game, I was pumped, but this is definitely a positive sign. Definitely checking this out.

Regardless of that score, I'm going to wait for a review from our Giant Bombers. Their word matters the most.

I was going to buy it anyway. 

I take Gamespot as serious as OXM.
