A laser is a focused beam of light, invisible through the air without some other medium (such as smoke) to illuminate it. Lasers are often used in video games as part of a targeting system, or as an offensive weapon in their own right.
Lava is molten rock, usually from the interior of a planet, and in games is often used as a hazard to players, or as a visible gameplay-area boundary.

Even though water in games tends to bring about death, we all still hold it near and dear to us. After all, the human body is comprised mostly of it.
Wood is a natural resource most commonly harvested from trees and brush. Wood often varies in color, variety, structure, and water content. it plays a vital role in crafting, building, and the culinary arts, and is often used as a resource for fuel and heat in lieu of fossil fuels like coal.
