Well, ideally he'd review literally everything, but I suppose I can settle for just a few games every now and again. I believe DA II would indeed be a good choice considering the circumstances.
Dragon Age II
Game » consists of 16 releases. Released Mar 08, 2011
This sequel to Dragon Age: Origins features faster combat, a new art style, and a brand new, fully voiced main character named Hawke.
Do you want Dave Snider to review Dragon Age 2?
He's the only one who can. The only other viable option would be Vinny, though he hasn't reviewed a game in years. Resistance 2 I think was his last, if not some Ratchet and Clank game. Jeff, Ryan and Brad I don't think even played much of the original.
EDIT: I still remember in the Road Show QL and how the ''enchantment' reference just flew over Brad's head..
Yes, I would love him to review Dragon Age 2. I feel like he is the only person who can tell me straight out if this is still a Dragon Age game or an Action RPG with console mechanics.
@phrosnite: Everything Dave has said about his game preferences implies that he'll hate DA2... or were you being sarcastic?" Prey to the God-Emperor that it's not Brad; I hate that guy. Dragon Age 2 is awesome and Dave will give it a 5/5. PLAY IT ON HARD, DAVE! "
" @phrosnite said:That was a long time ago before we knew much about the game. PC version is still king. Dave will like it I'm sure of it. Anyways I'm waiting for Adam Sessler's review because he has been playing the game for a few days now. If he gives it a 5.... out of 5 then the game is truely awesome!@phrosnite: Everything Dave has said about his game preferences implies that he'll hate DA2... or were you being sarcastic? " I'd rather see Vinny do it tbh. "There's more chance of Alex Navarro reviewing it, frankly. Which is a shame, because all of Vinny's reviews, including video reviews, I really enjoyed. I still don't know why he doesn't do any anymore. I've sent this question quite a few times to Jeff on formspring, though he's never replied. I suppose with the larger projects, and higher frequency of them, he's a lot busier than he was during those days.
Dave or Vinny seem like good choices. Dave reviewed the first game so it feels right. Vinny plays games to completion and with Dragon Age thats quality that some one needs, and he also played the original one. It's the shame Ryan only played it a little, and Jeff and Brad didn't play it at all. Origins should have been the Biowre game they all played.
I could go with either Dave or Vinny. Though if Dave does it, I'm confident it's high focus on the PC version and nothing else. I'm really curious what he thinks of the sequel and the changes its' undergone.
Yes, but I will admit he's probably very busy. His love of DA and dislike of Mass Effect 2 might make him the best person to look at this title, since it seems to have borrowed a few ideas from it's Sci-fi sibling.
I really don't think Navarro's going to be the one to review it. If Vinny or Dave don't do it, chances are there won't actually be a review, and they'll just give impressions of it on the Bombcast. Which would be a shame, since I think this is one of those games where we really need a legitimate opinion on the full game, what with all the backlash over the changes." @Enigma777 said:

I think it's pretty safe to say he will be reviewing it. And I don't think it will be a very positive review.
At this point I'll be more surprised to see a review. Vinny seems like the most likely candidate or Brad. Alex has only reviewed shorter games for Giantbomb or didn't do one (Castlevania: Lords of Shadow).
Anytime anyone brings up DA2 to Dave during Happy Hour, he sounds less than enthusiastic about it.
Dave is an oldschool RPGer so I would rather see him review it than the sometimes console-biased regular crew
If I remember correctly at the end of the happy hour when Dave was taking calls someone asked him about DA 2. And he said that he's been staying away from it at all because of what people have said about it being dumbed down to make it console friendly or something. And he dosen't want to ruin his experience of DA:O by playing the second one. Whether that means he staying away from the game I don't know.
At least that's what I remember, as far as I know I could have dreamt the whole thing.
i feel like there won't be a review of this game. Dave and vinny seem to busy to marathon through it.
" My guess is, Dave reviews, dislikes the changes and gives it 4/5 stars Although does anyone know if Dave's played the demo and how he feel about the changes to the combat and dialog systems? Dave, if you see this then please share your opinion "On the recent Happy Hour Dave said he's literally never even seen a trailer. That sounds like someone who's gonna review the game to me.
He really expresses interest in being impartial and not being swayed by any of the superficial changes people are talking about. More to the point that Dave is being responsible about his hype and likely will review this game.
I would think Dave needs to do it as he's the only one who can give the PC version the love it needs and see where the console versions can compare. Vinny is fully capable of doing that but I think Dave's overdue for a review.
" @phrosnite said:Has Dave followed the game or his reaction is based solely on the "They are making it like Mass Effect 2" comments?" Prey to the God-Emperor that it's not Brad; I hate that guy. Dragon Age 2 is awesome and Dave will give it a 5/5. PLAY IT ON HARD, DAVE! "no Dave will give it a negative one-thousand. Dave is one of the people that hates the changes "
