I got a awesome idea, lets try convince the GB staff to make Duke Nukem3D the next TNT. So ye, write in this tread if you want it to happen and the GB staff might see this,,,
Duke Nukem Forever
Game » consists of 14 releases. Released Jun 14, 2011
After approximately fourteen years of development, the heavily infamous sequel to Duke Nukem 3D was finally released, in which the macho Duke must damper yet another alien invasion.
Duke Nukem TNT?!!
" @fisk0 said:I guess you're right, I always was more into Doom and Quake myself, and never really followed the Duke3D source port projects, considering Doom has support for up to 64 players nowadays (the original only supported 4 players), and Quake can handle just about unlimited amounts of players (original 32 players), it wouldn't surprise me if there is 256 player coop-support in jduke or something, I haven't tested it in years."It's a Pc Game from the 90's. I am sure it can do 16 players if you download some mod.. "That could be cool, but wasn't it limited to 8 (or even 4?) players in dukematch?

Hope their is..
" Awesome that so many people like this idea, just hope that the staff sees it. Do anyone know if their is a mod so you can play more then 8 player in dukematch? "
I looked around, but sadly it seems none of the source ports I can find (JFDuke, XDuke, EDuke32) increase the player count, they generally only add windows network support or support for higher resolution, nothing like the Doom and Quake ports that drastically change the online capabilities.
Considering Giantbomb managed to make 1on1 Mortal Kombat matches rather interesting, I guess 4-8 player dukematches would still be fun to watch, though nowhere the beautiful chaos of 64 player Doom or Quake matches.
