Hey all, don't know how many people actually feel like doing this, but I feel as though it's time for us to roll out our predictions and hopes and dreams for the E3 of 2015. I'll start. I know it's not exactly exhaustive, but I'm going with what I know/can predict.

Sony Conference

High Chance: Persona 5 English trailer (the one that was shown earlier)

Medium Chance: More Uncharted stuff, Metal Gear Solid V trailer, new exclusive

Low Chance: New Persona content, Persona 5 release date, Cage has a new project, Let it Die gameplay

Miracle Chance: The Last Guardian lives, that Vita with the HDMI output is an actual product, PS4 gets a firmware update that allows it to play PS2 games

Microsoft Conference

• I have honestly no clue what this is even supposed to be. I know AMD is sponsoring it or some shit but who's actually gonna be there? I don't know.

• Capcom will not announce a new Darkstalkers because they hate fun...also because they're working on SFV...but mostly because they hate fun.
• Nintendo will announce a new Metroid...or they won't. I don't even fucking care anymore. Their press conference will probably be mediocre as fuck with one super cool ass new announcement (like Splatoon was last year), but people will jizz themselves because it's Nintendo.
• Sony continues to pretend Last Guardian exists in off-camera interviews.
• Bethesda announces Fallout 4 then Besthesda guy comes back out on stage and is all like "but here's what we really wanted to show off" then the lights go dim and BOOM, WET 2, BITCHES! Except they're too baller to simply call it WET 2 so it's revealed the actual name is TOO WET. #dropthemic #buildingthelist
• Sega announces Sonic Racing 3: Mario Kart is For Bitches and Virtua Fighter 6 because they're just that gangsta.
• Another fucking No Man's Sky trailer and/or demo because those have only gotten old last year.
• Nintendo apologize for Amiibo clusterfuck once again. Does nothing to rectify it except reprint more of the characters no one actually wants/gives a shit about. HOPE YOU FUCKERS LIKE PEACH.
• Microsoft announces a new Banjo-Kazooie as a giant fuck you. Turns out it actually looks good.

High Chance: remasters for everyone

I think a new Dishonored will be announced at the Bethesda event.

I think there's a reasonable chance we see early Mass Effect footage or a remaster of the old games.

I genuinely believe we will see The Last Guardian on the big screen behind Sony as the final or penultimate presentation during the main conference. If I give up now that would mean I can never again believe in miracles......

EA - mass effect 4 CG trailer

Sony - Dark Souls 3, or equivalent and it'll be multi-platform

Super Dumb prediction: Nintendo announce ViiR

I would suspect the next 3D Mario game will be shown off at E3. We know no new main series Mario game is coming out this year but we know one is in development. It's probably going to be a big one on the scale of SMG since it'll have had a lengthy development time.

Just show me that Uncharted 4 demo Sony.

Microsoft

• New gameplay of Quantum Break, releasedate Q2 2016
• New Rare game looks totally weird, just a trailer
• Scalebound gets no mention at all
• Gears of War 4 teaser, a smoking gun on the ground and Marcus voice over
• Lots of smaller (downloadable) games from first party studio's
• Hololens gets a games demo reel, lots of Minecraft stuff
• Crackdown gameplay looks great

Sony

• First 20 minutes is all about 'exclusive content' in games we already know about
• Morpheus get's a lot of stage time with demo's from multiple studio's (first party, indie and even UbiSoft), no price mentioned still
• No Man's Sky is absent
• New Gran Turismo revealed! Not called GT7 and it's just a CG teaser, no release date either
• Uncharted 4 multiplayer reveal, looks fine
• Some boring bit about things we don't care about at all (Sony music service or something)
• The Last Guardian re-reveal, still looks a lot like the PS3 version and will have a November 2015 releasedate (but gets delayed to May 2016)
• Ending with the reveal of Horizon by Guerrilla Games. Looks fantastic, crossover between The Witcher and Devil May Cry. March 2016!

Nintendo

That's some weak Sony predictions. I doubt they'll show anything Persona related, that's a TGS thing. I'm only predicting for the conferences I'll be watching.

• New Media Molecule IP

• Last minute trailers for Until Dawn and Tearaway Unfolded + release dates because they're slated for this summer.

• Sony Bend new IP

• New MediEvil game because there was a leak last week of gameplay for that which was taken down.

• Uncharted 4 gameplay showcasing the villain

• No Mans Sky and 6 indie games showing up because that's how Sony rolls.

• Highly unlikely stuff. CoD Blops 2 reveal because it was announced, it was played on PS4 and it's already up for pre-order on PSN. The Last Guardian, haha. Quantic Dream, Guerrilla Games new IP.

• Super unlikely, something Sucker Punch related.

EA

• Mirrors Edge gameplay, PVZ console game, Need for Speed. They said recently these were games coming early next year (Mirrors Edge) and late this year (NFS, PVZ).

• Mass Effect *subtitle* (please oh please)

• Visceral's Star Wars game teaser trailer.

Bethesda

• Dishonored definitive edition.

• Fallout 4. I bet 1,000 brad bucks it's happening.

• Gex. Open world stealth action game a la Dishonored but third person with the greatest video game lizard scale graphics ever. It'll revolutionize the industry. With Pepsi ads in game.

PC

• Turns out to be a Valve conference, announces so many 3's that everyone's brain turns into cabbage. Industry implodes, Gabe Newell arrested and charged with manslaughter of millions, video games die forever. Goodbye Gex.

The only prediction I can make is the same one I make every year.

Two hours of carefully executed marketing will once again trump 8,758 hours of reality.

Gears Remastered will be annnounced.

I'd be excited to see something on Gran Turismo 7. Gonna use some vacation time so I can just sit around and watch all the Giant Bomb live stuff. It feels weird to still be excited for E3 even though I have barely played anything recently, more PlayStation 1 than anything.

High Chance: The press conferences are embarrassing

Hearing that Stallone and a couple of voices are appearing in the Ratchet movie I am going to predict that Sony will show about 30 seconds of the new Ratchet game during their conference and then it won't be heard about again until about a week before its release when someone creates a forum thread entitled " Did anyone know this game was coming out this week?" or something like that.

nintendo tends to impress at e3 lately and i don't see this being different.

Sony: mediocre

EA: Star Wars

@ripelivejam: Maybe they'll show something more about those tower defense and robot fighting prototypes. Also expect some sort of Smash bros DLC.

Surprise twist: New Elder Scrolls, no sign of Fallout.

Sony is content in their place, and their conference will reflect that with very few announcements, and a lot of bragging.

• The conference will be an hour too long.
• No Man's Sky get's a release date, in early 2016.
• Media Molecule and Killzone guys are probably up to something.
• I BELIEVE IN LAST GUARDIAN. I BELIEVE!

Microsoft will come out swinging with a lot of safe bets, and some weird shit to garner good will.

• Battletoads trailer, actually looks surprisingly cool.

Nintendo is full of crazy people. They have 3 big announced games, and one of them is confirmed not to be at the show. I have no idea.

EA did nothing last year, unless their new leadership doesn't believe in E3, then I expect them to have a strong showing this year.

• Star Wars shit.
• They will remind everybody that Bioware is working on a new ip.

Ubisoft

• An hour of fart noises.

Bethesda will have everything everyone wants them to have. They're not going to have a press conference unless they feel they have stuff to show for it.

• Doom 4 trailer/demo, releasing this holiday.
• Dishonored 2 trailer, releasing early next year.
• Fallout 4 trailer, will not elaborate on release date.

Square Enix actually has a solid lineup of announced but unreleased games, so I expect them to keep the announcements to a minimum and give a lot of info about what they have coming.

• Tomb Raider trailer/demo.
• Deus Ex trailer/demo.
• Final Fantasy XV trailer/demo. No release date.
• Kingdom Hearts teaser. It's very vague and has no information.
• It would be hilarious if they continued their idiotic tradition of announcing the next Final Fantasy game before the current one is released, but that won't happen because the next Final Fantasy game will be XV-2.

There'll be a ton of games and everything's gonna look fantastic.

My prediction, and we'll see if Microsoft is really serious about that Windows 10 One store, Halo and all other Microsoft exclusive released day one on both xbox one and PC windows marketplace. Cross buy, cross plateform. If not, that whole One store thing is BS.

I think from the whole list the only interesting thing to me is FFXV for PC.

Microsoft:

To Include...

• A completely black stage with audio of a solo guitar. A spotlight highlights a man centre stage playing the aforementioned guitar. It's Jim Guthrie. After a while, as the soundtrack fills out with other instruments the big screen comes to life with a video of footage from the game Below.
• A man in a t-shirt 2 sizes too small introducing a Call of Duty trailer (including obligatory "in the interest of time..." black screen and "timed exclusive map packs" spiel), followed by a live gameplay demo that sees monitors rise up in front of the entire front row of the audience as they are invited to play along.
• A demo of Windows 10 being controlled by their hologram thingy with a full "Halogramatic" representation of Cortana projected on stage
• .. which loads and plays a "special" version of the next Forza.
• Video highlighting DirectX 12 features.
• Announcement of the unlocking of the "Every console is a dev console" feature along with an update to the Xbox UI.
• Announcement of the availability of the new Xbox One Terabyte
• Announcement of the acquisition of a new technology firm.
• A "surprise" celebrity appearance.
• Mention of the word "Selfie"
• Halo 5 gameplay

Never played through a Metroid game, so another one on the Wii U would be welcomed. Also hoping for something from P5, #FE, and KH3. New Nintendo IPs would be nice as well. Splatoon looks great, but just one isn't enough.

With regards to Last Guardian, Boyes, who was taking calls during the BLLSL, just shook his said and said "no" when asked whether it would be showing up at E3.

So what's the lesson here? Always bet on Last Guardian.

Something cool will probably happen at one of the press conferences.

It will not be the Ubisoft press conference.

Giant Bomb's commentary will be entertaining.

I don't know. Say what you will about Ubisoft's games of the past year or so, but their CG trailers have been some of the most technically impressive I have ever seen.

An array of weaponry is shown, ending with a shotgun, which turns around to show it in a first-person viewpoint...

...and then it shoots a cacodemon right in the fucking eye, following by blood, gore, and mayhem...

...and then DOOM appears really fucking big on the screen...followed by a bit of text that says "Fallout 4 was cancelled."

My heart would swoon to watch so many hearts broken while my dream is fulfilled. I truly am that evil. = D

Microsoft will have something Quantum Break related to remind people that's still a thing.

DICE openly stated in a bunch of ways that there will be Battlefront gameplay at E3 yesterday.

Definitely at least getting a name and concept for Vircerals Star Wars game. People seem to think it's Han Solo themed but here's hoping it's something fresher like 1313 looked.
