F-14 Tomcat was a Williams pinball machine released in 1987. It was the first pinball machine to have both a kickback mechanism and an "autosave" feature that allowed you to recover a ball that drained very early in ball play and other situations. Its appealing gameplay, iconic rotating beacon lights and elaborate soundtrack made this a staple of most arcades in the late-1980s and early-1990s.
