    Role Playing At It's Best

That title pretty much sums up Fable 2 for the Xbox 360. A great role playing game that captures the essence of what it is like to be an adventurer in a lush world full of excitement and danger in every turn. When playing Fable 2, I felt like I was the character going around and deciding things that I know will impact the world down the line. I love the fact that you can choose to be evil or a saint; either way you will have a great time with the game. I personally tryed to go the evil route and so far it has been a lot of fun.

The story is great as well and so are the graphics. They are not best out there but they are vey pretty and does the game justice. The thing that really got me about this game is the combat. The combat is very fun and really feels rewarding. One can easily switch between swordplay, guns, and magic just by pressing the corresponding bottons. It is very fuild and feels like you are this badass action hero doing all sorts of crazy moves at the same time. All in all this is a great game that no one should miss.

I'm going to say this from the get-go, although the combat is not as deep as most RPGs (particularly JPRGs) this does not particularly detract from the Fable 2 experience. The main strength of Fable 2 is it's atmosphere. It tries (and succeeds) in creating a world which is reminiscent of classic European fairy tales, which is an interesting and diverse land to explore, different towns and...

Despite its flaws, a Ticket to Albion is worth the asking price. 0

Fable II is an extremely ambitious game. Its scope is rather enormous, and with a quick glance, Fable II looks like a grand palace of a video game. However, when you get a little closer, as with any grand construction, the cracks begin to show. The Game begins with you choosing to be either a Male or Female orphan and you are thrown straight into a brief exposition/tutorial sequence. In this, as in the Childhood sequence from the original Fable, you need to do odd jobs to get some gold. The sta...
