Now that Kessler seems to be settling into life at Giant Bomb, he's actually pretty funny.

Interesting way to build up hype.

I can't seem to care, even with the idea of seeing a character I designed as an NPC. Maybe it's that I hated Fable 1 and never played the sequel...or maybe it's Kinect but I just couldn't care about Fable 3 at all.

This seems kinda neat, but then again... it's one dude/dudette. And there aren't that many options to make it totally unique. Not sure if I'll bother pre-ordering just for that. But the game does look interesting, with the map system etc. Will see how it turns out.

I guess Microsoft/Lionhead are trying for the Spore Creature Creator effect with this. It therefore seems to be neither innovative or risky, but with the Creature Creator overshadowing the actual game (in many ways), perhaps that's a good thing?!

While the prospect of farting on oneself may SEEM new and interesting, it's nothing a small-ish hose or tube couldn't accomplish before.  As for making a gassy computer-man I can't actually do anything with for another 2 months, I think I'll pass.

never played a Fable game before, but this sounds awesome.

I would like to see this in other games in the future. The more the developers interact with the gamers, the more we get the games we want to play.

I'll be buying it day one, hate preordering though. Maybe I'll do it to fart on myself... maybe.

I have yet to see a web-based tie-in like that that actually helps get me excited for a game. When someone does pull it off, I'm going to be really, really impressed. The Fable II pub games were really cool, but not web-based.

I have liked all of the Fable games, and Fable II had some pretty cool things you could do online that would unlock stuff in the actual game. I will definitely check this out!

I tried playing Fable 2... I got maybe an hour or two in. I don't get the hype...

I've got a bad feeling about Fable III. It seems to lack improvements from Fable II, the most important being the constant slowdown.

This is ten times a better promo tool than pub games.  I actually think it's a good little bonus...

I think the question we're all asking is whether or not we're going to be able to fart on Milo.

I initially disliked Fable II but have been playing it again recently. That is a game that is hella fun to play as an evil character so that might be my tactic for this one.
