I can't decide but I'm thinking of either the Walmart pack or Gamestop. A shotgun that never breaks would really be useful but I figure since I'll find it eventually its probably not worth it. The Gamestop pack has some cool Vault gear I'm interested in and I don't know if I will find it later in the game. Also it has a canteen that will be great for hardcore mode. Anyways, where are you pre-ordering from?

the best buy merc one seems cool also but i think ima have to go w gamestop classic pack. a more powerful handgun will make the beginning go smoother and yeah the canteen for hard core mode. but mainly its so i can run around looking like my guy from the first fallout haha
" I still need to use my $20 credit from Amazon, so probably get it from there. $40 Fallout FTW! "that's what I did, I'm getting it for 40, free release date shipping, tribal armor, and 10 dollars off next game purchase.
When was the last time preorder gear turned out to be essential (or even really useful)? Definitely went with Amazon because of free release day shipping and $10 credit. Would you have paid $10 for a digitial canteen and jumpsuit if they were included as DLC? That's basically what I'd be doing if I didn't take Amazon's offer.
" When was the last time preorder gear turned out to be essentialNever? Because that would be retarded. Pre-order gear is either to show off online that you had the wherewithal to place an order for a game in advance of its release, or to make the first few levels/hours slightly easier. By which I mean, pre-order gear is a crappy gimmick that inexplicably fools a lot of people into paying more than they should for a game. I'll be getting it off ebay for less than I'd pay anywhere else.
As a huge Fallot fan from the old days I'm getting it from GameStop. My guy needs to have a Vault 13 suit. I doubt any of this can be found in game, and I'm sure it's all an advantage to low level play, but I'm sure this will all be DLC in game.
I live in the UK, so I'm pre-ordering the CE edition from a the UK equivalent of Gamestop called Game.
