FIFA 09 Review
It's great times for football fans, one reason is because the new english football season has started and the other because we are treated to the latest and perhaps greatest FIFA game that EA has churned out. Now I personally have been playing Pro Evo for the past two years, so don't expect me to be a FIFA know it all.
EA has brought the same great gameplay from it's Euro 2008 title, which in a way is kind of disappointing and annoying because they couldn't be bothered to even tweak it. But so what. EA have raised their game in the yearly battle against Konami in the fight to be the best football game developer out there.
The graphics have never been a problem for the FIFA series, EA has always presented that great football spirit from the supporters to the stadiums. The player models are realistic as ever, from Wayne Rooney to Ronaldhino, you will recognise every player you see. Overall the visuals are top notch. Another ascept of the FIFA series that never fails is the audio, the solid commentary, the well suited soundtrack and the on and off ball effects make it feel well presented.
FIFA 09 has plenty of modes and opitions to play and fiddle around with, the online 10 vs 10 mode, Manager mode, Be a Pro mode, Adidas Live Season and the updated team tactics system. All of this will take up a lot of your playing time.
In conclusion, EA have done their greatest FIFA ever. Pro Evo will have to be an excellent game to beat this.
Over to you, Mister Konami.
