Destructoid - 8/10 - As far as videogame remasters go, Final Fantasy X and X-2 are at the top of the list as far as quality is concerned. It's clear that Square Enix put a lot of time into both of these beloved titles, and as a series fan I really appreciate that. They've made both of these great games even better with this remastering, and any fan of either should definitely check them out.
USgamer - 4/5 - It's the odd moments, not the expected ones, that make this pair of visually remastered RPGs worth revisiting.
IGN - 9.3/10 -Final Fantasy X is a brilliant game that every JRPG fan should have played by now, and whether you’re experiencing it for the first time or returning for another playthrough, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is outstanding. With enhanced art and music, tons of extra in-game content, cross-save compatibility, and bundling two huge games for the price of one, it’s a lot of bang for your buck. There’s so much to see and do, and being rewarded with new Trophies for going the extra mile with challenges and exploration feels great.
Playstation Lifestyle - 9/10 - Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster comes with a number of small flaws, but those can’t stand up to its strengths. The addition of an entirely new game in FFX-2: Last Mission and the way the Expert Sphere Grid turnsFFX upside-down are huge enough. Add in FFX-2‘s new and useful Dress Spheres, battle arena, and monster catching, along with X‘s dark aeons, and there’s already reason enough for avid fans to give these games a replay, even before considering the visual enhancements.
Game informer - 9/10 - Even years later, Final Fantasy X is still an exciting RPG, telling a compelling story with plenty of momentum. While the crazy girls-night-out theatrics of X-2 might still cause you to roll your eyes, the battle system is still fast and fun. For those who want the complete arc of the Final Fantasy X saga, the collection delivers. Even without a nostalgic lens, both games hold up well.

Reviews are out!....what can i do for you?
@bigjeffrey: I guess people still not understand this scene and why it in there^^
I really don't know whether to get this on Vita or PS3. My gut says PS3 but FFX on a handheld seems really appealing.
Will you be able to buy them individually? Ive beaten FFX twice back in the day so I'm not really interested playing it again, however I skipped X2 and i'm really keen on getting that.
Only on Vita. The PS3 version is a bundle.
I think the Vita version is a bundle-only in the US, too. You can buy them separately in Japan and Europe, but not here.
@believer258: Oh I did not know that... The digital version as well?

It sounds weird, but as far as I know you can only get the US version as a bundle, digital included. Digital should be separate, but it doesn't look like it is.

@jimmyfenix: Those shorts are certainly riding up high in that box art..
@tobbrobb: Oh man, I didn't even know there was going to be soundtrack remastering. Just went and listened to the battle music and the new one sounds... rough. Most of the rest of the stuff sounds ok though?
@jimmyfenix: I don't think the soundtrack is TERRIBLE or something. But it is a step down from the original, and a lot of the changes feel lazy and unnecessary. The battle theme and Besaid especially feel like they were changed just to be changed without any planning whatsoever.

Oh wow they actually replaced music in the game?
I imagine it's just reorchestrated, like Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. I remember liking the music in that game.
I've been meaning to play the International version for years, so I'm definitely excited to revisit FFX. I might possibly convince myself to finally play through FFX-2, too, despite my annoyances with it. But, I mean, I made it most of the way through FFXIII, so this should be easy by comparison.
Since I played the EU version of FFX which is basicaly the International version the "new" content in FFX is actually not new for me or other Europeans, but the new content in FFX-2 previously not seen outside Japan seems pretty cool with a pokemon style catch monsters game and a Persona 3 style climbing of a tower floor for floor. But mostly I just want an excuse to revisit what I consider the last really good FF game. I played FFX for 130 hours, And I've only played FF7 more than that. It seems they have actually redone a lot of the graphics and not just uprezed it which makes it look pretty darn good from what I've heard.
