    Overview

    Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is an HD compilation of Square Enix's Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. Specifically, the ports are based on International Version and the International + Last Mission Version respectively. This marks the first time that the International Version of Final Fantasy X has been made available in North America, and the first time that Final Fantasy X-2's International Version has been made available outside of Japan. A PlayStation 4 version of the game was released both digitally and at retail on May 12, 2015. A PC version was released on Steam on May 12, 2016.

    Both titles are bundled together in the PS3 release, though the Vita version is split due to the size limitations of the handheld's game cards. Final Fantasy X is sold as a packaged retail product with Final Fantasy X-2 available via an included download code. Both the Vita and PS3 versions support cross-save functionality.

    The HD Remaster contains the following:

    • Final Fantasy X International
    • The Eternal Calm video
    • Final Fantasy X-2 International
    • Final Fantasy X-2 Last Mission
    • Compilation Credits with Bonus Audio

    The game includes a brand new thirty minute audio only ending/epilogue that plays during the credits of the compilation. It takes place one year after Final Fantasy X-2 and features new characters. This audio epilogue is included with both the PS3 release as well as the Vita version of Final Fantasy X-2. For the Vita versions of the remasters, Eternal Calm is included with Final Fantasy X, while the Last Mission bonus campaign comes with Final Fantasy X-2 in addition to the new audio epilogue. Both Final Fantasy X and X-2 feature independent trophy lists, each with their own platinum trophy.

    Like Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, fans who pre-ordered Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster on PS3 received a 24-page art book with concept art and commentary from the developers of the two games.

    Exclusively available at the Square Enix Online Store and it includes the following:

    • Full-size art book packaging, featuring 40 pages of imagery from the beautiful world of Spira.
    • Final Fantasy X HD Remaster original soundtrack (Blu-Ray Music Disc) – Over six hours of music set to the game’s most memorable moments.
    • Five lithographs of iconic artwork and characters.
