edit: bad quotes aside, I think the game is a lot of fun

1) Pretty sure Snow doesn't take that shit seriously. Actually half the time they mention hero stuff it is really sarcastic. Funny stuff really. 
2) Yeah I also thought that was really awful but then I realized my own mom has said shit like that before and while it didn't make me hate the line any less it actually felt in place. 

I get it. Star Wars reference. Yeah, the prequels had some awful dialogue. 
 
I can't vote without any kind of context for the lines.

Out of context it is really hard to judge how bad those lines of dialogue. Said sarcastically, ironically, jokingly or in a reply to s certain comment those first two could be great lines of dialogue. The second two do seem like they're just badly written, but again, in certain contexts they would probably be OK.

Snow is the shonen hero. It's par for the course, really. It bothers me, but then it was always going to bother me.

Snow represents everything I hate about male manga leads. I must protect everyone!...etc.etc bs bs me me me.

The line about moms was bad enough the first time. The second was just.... Wow.

Almost everything Hope says has pissed me off.  He just complains and complains and complains the whole fucking time and then he's shocked when Lightning walks away when he's in the middle of his tirades.  What a fucking idiot of a character.

I found the mom at the beginning kinda awful though, but the rest seems pretty solid to me.

All of snow's hero bullshit is annoying.

My problem with Snow is that he isn't Hot Blooded enough.  I want him to go "RAAAAGHHH!" every time he's about to do anything.
 
Basically, Snow would be better if he was just Bang Shishigami.
