    Alright, I got to the spot with chocobos, and there's one running around with a feather icon on the map. This seems to suggest I can ride it. So how exactly do I do that?!

    I think you have to complete mission 14 first 

    A simple google search could have solved this issue very quickly :)

    You need to do missions 1, 3,5,7,11,12 and 13 for chocobos.
