No, I don't think cannibalism can ever be classified as "guilt free". Eating some part of another human being as if it was on the menu from Applebee's isn't something I would elect to do. I can excuse it in one of those trapped-in-the-Andes situations, but not under any casual dining circumstance.
Would you eat a friend's severed leg, as described on the most recent bombcast?
I can't believe how many people are voting no. You all would just let that (possibly) tasty leg go to waste!
Fuck no! I saw this thread last night and didn't enter it for fear of further bombcast spoilers and assumed it meant a stranded on an island situation where your friend lost his leg and it was your only way to survive, not "Hmm, I think I may want to eat this leg" situation. What the fuck. No.

Under the circumstances, it's a lot more ethical than eating an animal which was killed for its meat. I'd rather eat my own meat than a friend's.
I hear you have to remove your lower ribs to do that.............
On topic, no, god, no, With what my friends eat, drink, etc. there is no way that leg would taste edible.
Not someone I know. Jesus, that would be traumatizing.
Anonymous leg-meat is a totally different story, though.
If I crash landed in some futuristic space craft on a desolate moon and all our rations were gone... Than sure, why not.

"Lisa, this is lamb not a lamb." - Homer Simpson
No, that's utterly disgusting and amoral. That conversation on the podcast was pretty entertaining, though.
If some guy would chainsaw someone's leg off and would tell me to eat it or else I am next, yes I would eat it.
Everybody just go watch Alive
But I would have no qualms with eating a friends leg as long as they seemed into the idea. I would be pretty pumped about eating my perfectly good but totally amputated leg. I mean, who isn't curious about how people taste?! (right?) As for the "what if you like it" problem, I also like the taste of veal but I don't eat it cause it makes me sad. So... easy to not eat it.
@alexl86: I'd die before being forced to eat 4 day old friend leg meat.

I've had Manwichbefore, which I assume from the name is made from people. So...sure, why not?
