Chat ahead of stream?

Anyone else feel like sometimes the chat is responding to something that hasn't happened yet? It's hard to pin down, but especially when there's audio problems etc. I'll see people saying it's fixed before it is in my stream.

They could just be watching it on youtube but chatting on the chat. Youtube is ahead right now in the "taste for summer" stream.

Yeah, what's up with that? I've seen it in earlier streams too, for some reason the GB stream itself is always the slowest.

The stream always starts out like 30+ seconds behind, I guess this is to prevent buffering or something. If you hover your mouse over the player and look at the time you can see. What I do is press the right arrow key to nudge it forward until it's only like 5 seconds behind. Any more and it will start buffering.

Hope this makes sense, a bit weird to explain.

EDIT: I took a screen of the stream running right now just to show. As you can see my stream is 20 sec behind what the actual playing time is. This is how it is for everyone, so you have to manually adjust it.
