Embiggen and Debiggen problems

It used to work like this:

If you went on the front page (ie. http://www.giantbomb.com/) the video player was always small, but if you clicked on a specific link (ie. http://www.giantbomb.com/videos/demo-derby-official-playstation-magazine-disc-79/2300-11870/) the video would be displayed in whatever size you last clicked (either embiggen or debiggen).

At the moment, if you click just one video to be bigger, all the video players are big, even on the front page where they shouldn't be. I like to have the small player on the front page, because it allows me to see more of the site/content and what's new, instead of just one big video player that covers the whole front page.

But no response :(

Yeah, this has definitely changed.

The question is, is it a bug, or a feature? I hope it's not a feature or is at least something they add to the Settings and anyone can set it themselves.
