Giant Bomb video player crashing Microsoft Edge on Xbox One

Starting sometime relatively recently, Microsoft Edge has been crashing on my Xbox One when watching GB videos. This is only when using the GB video player, YouTube videos embedded in Microsoft Edge work just fine. The amount of time before the crash is completely random, but I usually don't make it through an entire video. This includes when watching on QLcrew.com. I have tried both progressive and html5, it seems to happen more quickly when using progressive.

I saw Jeff talked about some fans making an unofficial Xbox app a while ago and he recently tweeted about its release. Would this be better for you?

I am having the exact same issue as the above, however it's on the Microsoft Edge app on my xbox one. It started last Friday and hasn't worked since.

I too am having it crash on my Xbox one for about the past month and a half. The video usually plays for between 5-15 minutes before dumping me back to the Xbox One home screen. This happens for both premium and non-premium videos. I have tried using the unofficial Xbox app but that doesn't always pick up from where I left off watching on another device.
