Since the recent change, IE11 seems to be no longer supported

I don't see why this is an issue, since you guys say IE10 is supported! In IE11, if I manually change the user agent to emulate IE10, it works - so it's not a functionality issue, you guys are just blocking the user agent for no reason.

The message shown is:

Sorry! Your browser is not one that we can support in chat any longer. Its either too old or your IT guy really did a job on it and its 'too safe' for us. We thought a lot about this and its just too darn hard to support your browser while we support newer browsers that play so much better with others on the world wide webs. We really hope you can upgrade. If Mel the IT guy riding high on his little power trip sez no then we suggest you find a job where the IT guy pushes out reasonable browsers. You can still watch the live stream so at least you have that going for you. Which is nice...

We strongly suggest Chrome We're totally cool with Safari We deal with Firefox Oh and there's Internet Explorer 10

(and please, no "hurr just use chrome" replies, this is a Bug Reporting thread)

I really don't want to have to go get another browser just to chat, am I the only one using Chrome and unable to access chat?

Why on earth would you want to browse the internet on your Wii U?

Same reason if I wanted to browse the Internet on my tablet, except the Wii U's browser is smoother and more reliable than any tablet browser I've used.

The Wii U browser is the best way to view internet video (HTML5 in particular), such as Giant Bomb HD, on a TV. It also supports live Twitch and you can access the Giant Bomb chatroom though it. Overall, the Wii U GamePad and its browser make for the perfect couch buddy. It's more reliable than having a Tablet, that's dependent on wi-fi.

That totally makes sense. As someone who never spends any time in a couch in front of a TV (i don't even own one) it seemed odd at first but now i totally understand why someone would browse the web on the Wii U.
