I saw his death on his page, and there's no way that can be right. I tried removing it, but I got a message saying that it's a required field. Can the mods fix this, or is it a staff thing?
John Vignocchi's death?
But both his birthday and his deathday are listed as December 31. Nothing about this adds up.
You can even check my wiki subs. :D
Huh. I tried putting in n/a like it says for other living people (Jeff and Brad both have 'n/a' listed in the death column) but it says to enter a valid date. Maybe once a date is entered it's a required field, so the system won't let you remove it? Sounds like a bug. Or just a prank by the staff.
" Good night sweet prince 1979-2060 "What were you doing on the day Johnny V died?
Me? I was playing Tron.
I've been meaning to run a query to find birth and death dates set in the future. Then I'll send the the list to the staff so they can fix those, and hopefully fix the underlying problem as well.
Also I trust someone will be kind enough to inform John, in case he doesn't check his page in the next 40 years.
The More You Know...
Wait, that brings up a question: what about games with different date systems? How the hell do we account for those?
" @LordAndrew: Wait, that brings up a question: what about games with different date systems? How the hell do we account for those? "We don't. If there's a different date system we leave it blank. The dates can't be compared to each other, and the software only lets us enter four-digit dates (or two-digit dates that are transformed into four-digit dates).
