Currently we don't get points for removing incorrect content (well at least not with live edit, I can't remember if you do when it goes through the mod queue?), which in some instances can take just as much work as adding it.

As an example, someone would gain 1 point for adding a game to similar games and if someone removed it as was from the same franchise they would receive none.

I'm just wondering on what peoples thoughts were on points distribution for removing incorrect/inappropriate content, I personally think we should receive points for the effort.

Most likely this will happen later on, i think the main goal now is to populate the gamespaces with as much original content as possible, obviously there will be some incorrect data entered, this in my mind should be rewarded for picking out later on, like you stated.

Then people with live edit access could go around the site deleting articles for points.

Yeah, I'm sure the kinks like this work their way out of the system eventually.  But that's totally a good point.

People with live edits can also add rubbish for points.
