Right now we just have the US, Australia, UK (god fucking dammit giant bomb change that to Europe already) and Japan. It is already quite a mess for European releases since game do not release simultaneously in the different member countries but there is a centralised rating system (PEGI)
South Korea however does not share simultaneous launch dates with any other Asian country or union and it has its own rating system. Thus South Korea as a region along with the GBR rating system (A, 12, 15, 18) should really be added as an option in the release section of the wiki page.
The sooner this is added the better because there is a lot of release data to update. Most noticeably Daewon Media's Touch DIc and there just released Touch Man To Man.
Region request: South Korea
" UK has their own rating system (BBFC), but we sure need EU (PEGI) added to the list as well. "Yes, but BBFC is no longer being used. BBFC is being phased out by PEGI, because they're Europe's standard. TBH, I wouldn't mind having South Korea, but finding the actual, correct boxart for a South Korean game will be incredibly difficult. Also: I'd like a Germany option, but I'm not sure if it'd happen.
@TMThomsen:
Yeah that would be the BBFC, that one is already in the list of option you get when adding a release date. What we have now:
- BBFC
- CERO
- ESRB
- OFLC
- PEGI
What is missing
- OFLC: should be turned into OFCLA and OFCLNZ New Zealand and Autralia do not actually have the same rating system the big difference being that New Zealand has a adult rating.
- ELSPA: not entirely sure what this one is about but it is for the UK as well
- VET: Greece
- USK: Germany
- EOCS/CSA: This one is fun, it is a rating system in Japan mostly used for bishoujo games
- ESRA: Iran
- CSRR: China

@Rallier: The more detail the better; I would love to see all of those rating systems and their respective regions added.
That was the old British rating system which has now been replaced by PEGI. It can be confusing sometimes because older games use the ELSPA system but in the releases you just have to just the PEGI equivalent (the only difference between the two is ELSPA had a 15+ rating whereas PEGI doesn't) .
- ELSPA: not entirely sure what this one is about but it is for the UK as well
Yes. I often run into older games with ELSPA ratings and have to unfortunately leave the rating field blank." @Rallier said:
