If you have live edits, do you have to fill in the note to moderator section in the bottom right?

I've submitted content without filling anything in that box before and everything was fine. I really don't think you have to, it might just be for explaining why you might have deleted or altered a certain part of an article or something.

I put something in that box most of the time, but for myself, so I can see what I've added or deleted etc. You don't have to though.

if you're doing something that doesn't force it to the queue (adding stuff) then you don't need to leave anything. But if you're doing something that will force it to the queue like deleting a lot of stuff, it'd be best to leave a note.
