Behold Duders! I have crafted a box full of gifts to bestow upon ye olde adventurers!

What lies inside?...
What lies inside?...

Why it's our adventurers approaching the entrance to a dungeon!

What kind of perils are beyond the dark threshold?
What kind of perils are beyond the dark threshold?

These figures are heavily modified "kit-bashed" Warhammer miniatures. The colorings were chosen to keep a clear distinction between the character's figures to increase readability on the tabletop and on camera.

Detroit was the most heavily modified, using parts from several different figures. The legs were sliced, posed, and rejoined to give him a lunging rogue-like stance. His cloak and hood go from a dark almost black green to bright neon green highlights hinting at an almost magical, possibly trans-dimensional quality. He's armed with a dagger and skull shaped shortsword, leather armor, and a mysterious pouch which could be filled with stolen goods, or perhaps a somehow limitless supply of firearms.

Fanya (I believe.. maybe Fawnya, or Fawnia? Danny didn't really say it often or spell it out) the Tiefling sorceress is leaping to action from atop a runed stone. Her dark purple outfit compliments the hue of her devilish horns and contrasts against her reddish-pink demonic skin. Wielding a rapid-fire crossbow and dagger for when things get dirty she'll most likely rely on her magical prowess to handle situations. This figure is mostly stock with the addition of the crossbow, tail, and modifying a crown into horns.

Droostor raises his massive warhammer with pride as he marches towards danger. His left hand raised toward the heavens channeling his cleric powers. Is it to heal an injured party member or is he inflicting hideous wounds upon his enemies? His gold and silver armor gleams with holy devotion and the crimson cloak's color hides the blood of his fellow adventurers. Probably the least modified of the models, Droostor has a custom head and his warhammer is made from a modified Space Marine mace.

Sir Richard the Horseman proudly raises his opulent golden hilted sword high above his head in a gesture true to champion form. His gold championship belt gleams brightly and his dazzling cape glimmers as it blows in the wind. Clearly taking inspiration from Ric Flair's iconic wardrobes this model is the second most modified and has some really great custom elements. From a hand-sculpted title belt that is gold leafed instead of painted, to a glitter coated cloak with pipecleaner-fur lining that was extended to drape on the floor, Sir Richard is one hell of a showboat.

The horse was based off the Four Horsemen t-shirt logo
The horse was based off the Four Horsemen t-shirt logo

I need to take better photos of the inside of the box, but inside is a fully decorated custom base with magnetic slots for the figures to fit in. Each figure is also magnetized and custom based, with gold leafed borders and black felt bottoms for optimal luxury. Of course the felt lining is a little thicker than the magnets would like so the actual quality of the magnetic hold isn't so hot, but oh well. The box's lid is also felt lined to prevent slamming and the top is decorated with "GB D&D" which is again gold leaf.

Hopefully I can get these in the hands of the guy's before the next session, but I wanted to go ahead and share now that I've gotten them wrapped up.

Great job on the miniatures and the box too. The more I read the more impressive it got. I think Sir Richard is my favourite just because of the pipe cleaner trimmed cloak, brilliant touch.

Of course Sir Richard is the only one with a flag, he would do that. XD

I'm so jealous of the Bomb crew getting such awesome fan art.

Well done to you, they all look great and the box is just taking it the extra mile. I have literally given a you a round of applause though sadly you won't have been able to hear it. I can wait to see the crews reaction!

@ironsouls: Yeah they're all hand painted except for the primer base coat which is a spray. I can't even count how many times I had to redo their eyes thanks to a not-so-steady hand...

When you do ship them, individually bubble wrap the figures. I do commission painting and have had figures break into pieces when I secured them by the base rather than individually in bubble wrap. Very cool!
