So sad the announcement isn't Tekken x Street Fighter. With Tekken Tag 2 and that Tekken Revolution game that's out, I really don't care about Tekken 7 right now.

I was Team Snake Eyez, but Luffy did amazing work. I think Luffy had the better chance over Snake Eyez anyway, but I just love seeing Snake Eyez play.

Fantastic EVO overall. Only complaint is that so much were missed during the USF4 pools/quarter/semis especially with this year's bloodshed. Finals were all hyped with Blazblue, Marvel and USF4 (fell asleep during KI and woke up after Melee).

I ignored a majority of EVO but i did catch the final few matches for the street fighter champion or whatever, and it was actually pretty intense. It was fun to watch. Maybe i shoulda watched more of this!

You should go back and watch some more of this. Most of EVO sunday's finals were great. BlazBlue was about as good as finals can get. KOF was good on Saturday, as well. Winners Finals of UMvC3 is another one. All around, some amazing stuff.

Oh sure, i mean ill admit im completely ignorant of all the nuances of the fighting game scene. But watching some of those big fights live was alot more fun than i thought it was going to be.

I just clicked giant bomb and saw that the EVO stream was still going so i clicked that because well, i had nothing else going on, so why not? Never really watched competitive fighting game stuff before. Apparently i caught the finals of the entire thing, street fighter 4. which i played once.

It was klinda awesome though, chat was going nuts, the announcers were saying shit i didnt understand.

Watching the fights itself i didnt really unstand why the guy playing as Rose got his super so often he could practically spam it and the other guy as eyepatch shorts dude never got his super? I dunno i dont know the game. I rooted for eyepatch shorts guy cus he seemed like the underdog.

Next year i think ill watch more! seems fun!

@clonedzero: Short answer for Rose's meter: her Soul Reflect can absorb fire balls which go into her meter.

It's one of Rose's abilities. If you time it right, Rose can either reflect a projectile or absorb it to add to your meter. Luffy absorbed a lot until Bonchan figured out a different rhythm. That led to more Supers until Bonchan mixed things up.

Rose is considered meh tier; so, for her to crush people like that is really something.

You should totally watch next year and during CEO. It's super fun even when you don't always understand every game. :)

All I saw was Luppy's run in losers in the top 8, and I was fully ready to be bored stiff, but there's something that gets you going. Also it might've been the first time I didn't think Seth Killian was gawd awful.
