Amazon or eBay?
I get about three or four packages from Amazon per day. I rarely use Ebay.
I spend a good $10,000+ on Amazon per year. Enough to get personally written thank you letters lol.

What? Really?
Yeah, they send you a thank you letter somewhere around the $5,000 mark.

I hope you have amazon prime.
Obviously.
It really depends on what I'm looking to buy. Can't beat the prices you'll get from ebay but if I want a new product from a reliable source it's Amazon or NewEgg.
I would much rather buy stuff in stores. However, if I were to buy something online (and I have bought stuff off of the internet) then it would be from Amazon.com. I haven't had anything bad come from them, ever.
My experience with Ebay has been... OK. I bought a generic PSP battery from there, one of the $5 knockoffs. It was total turd, I had to tape it in to get it work and it would last like an hour, hour and a half. I've also bought an original Xbox off of there, and it was missing a piece for one of the controllers. The disc drive was also a bit wonky - it worked most of the time, but about once a week it would be a major pain in the ass. Lucky I modded it and put a new HDD in it and it works to this very day.
Amazon, I haven't used Ebay in years. Although I haven't had any problems with products bought off Ebay, I feel like I'm wasting my time bidding on products.

Amazon. Don't feel safe buying on eBay.
eBay is completely safe. I don't know where the assumption you're going to get ripped off came from. As long as you know what you're doing on eBay, you have nothing to worry about. Besides, if by some change you actually do get ripped off, eBay has so many ways to protect the buyer, so you will get your money back.
I use both all the time. However Amazon is typically for new products; eBay is for used things and typically consists of Video Games, Magic The Gathering Cards or Movies with the occasional book. I also use half.com a lot as well.
Been using eBay for 9 years now according to my account. And i've never had a bad experience; i've had items come that were shoddy and the sellers were typically quite good about dealing with it. However any poor transcation that couldn't be resolved was escalated to eBay/PayPal and ALWAYS resolved in my favor as the buyer. I had a copy of Chrono Cross that was like covered in dirty and the case was all cracked come to me and I was able to get a refund.
Amazon for almost everything. Ebay for the stuff you can't find anywhere else.
My biggest gripe with ebay is that it can be sketchy form time to time. Some real shady people on there so you have to be careful.
Amazon for sure. You don't have to worry about checking an item every 5 minutes and increasing your bid by 5 cents, only to be beaten by someone at the last second by a penny.
Neither. Amazon never has anything I want in stock, words can not describe how abysmal it is, and when they do it's always from users so I get raped in shipping. Ebay sucks for the same reason because any time I have gone to look for stuff I can never find sellers within my country and it costs an arm and a leg to ship things when you add border fees.
Amazon. It's cheap and easy, and I don't want to have to deal with bidding. I don't even have an Ebay account.
Amazon brah, I get free two day shipping as a Prime Member and am never charged tax on anything. If you didn't know, you can get Prime Membership for a year free if you are a college student and are able to provide the email address given to you by your university.
Not going to vote since I use both sites for very different items. Amazon is almost always used for new games and household items I'm too lazy to run out and buy. eBay is for the used game market, or old/vingtage/rare/weird crap that would take forever finding in all the shops around town.
I buy from Amazon all the time. The only thing I ever bought off of Ebay was what turned out to be a bootleg copy, tape to DVD conversion, of a cartoon movie I loved as a kid called "Mr. Rossi's Vacation". Of course, now you can watch it on YouTube. The nostalgia is strong with this one and it is still a fun movie.
Depends on items but the Amazon experience is a whole lot easier and better than ebay. The only time I use ebay is for car parts and textbooks(on occasion) apart from that I usually stay away from them due to Paypal and the risk that you may or may not get your item as described. But selling is a whole lot more rewarding on ebay than amazon.
Amazon is pretty awesome...zappos is the best site on the internet in my experience, I get all my shoes from them.

Then don't place a bid thats 5 cents more than the current one, place a bid that is the maximum amount you're willing to spend.

At that point I would rather just buy on Amazon instead of worrying about someone outbidding me by 5 cents at the last second.
Amazon. I cant be bothered with eBay at all anymore. Have never had a problem with anything on Amazon. eBay, that a whole different story.
For new retail etc. things like books, movies, games etc. i always use amazon because almost 100% of the time it's cheaper then going to the store, however i do not buy used games or movies on Amazon because people bullshit the descriptions and i have been burned too many times so fuck amazon user market place, i used craigslist, or local stores like packards games and mckays if i want used games/movies.
As for ebay.. ebay has been a joke for years, especially for sellers.
