Megaman Powered Up and New Super Mario Bros. both were fantastic remakes, although non of the high-profile remakes were all that bad recently IMO

I have high hopes for the Klonoa remake too.

New Super Mario Bros is the obvious choice.

Pac-Man CE was pretty awesome...and most recently I picked up a copy of Space Invaders Extreme which kicks ass!
