Dave Snider?
I can't believe you dummies are voting for "More". "More" is way better. I mean, are you against more Dave Snider? GTFO
I miss this guy so fucking much, him, Vinny and Drew had something special going on. Some of the best content on this entire site feature Dave Snider.
I first joined the site for the Flight Club videos. It's sad that we'll likely never see the trio of Drew, Dave, and Vinny ever reform for another video. :(
Yeah, when he left, they said he'd be around, but really, he never was.
Having a full time job (at an upstart?) and a family will do that to you.

So Dave Still "Hooked" on his thing ?
Sadly, I found while I was looking into using Webhook for some work thing, it seems like it didn't quite work out as a business and is now in open-source/maintenance mode. Dave himself seems to be working at Guidebook now (not sure about the others). I sure miss him in Flight Club and Random PC Games...
@audiobusting: Alongside one Sean Coonce it seems!
@audiobusting: sad to hear that it didn't quite work out. Love me some Dave, his guest appearances on podcasts always made for great episodes. Would love to see a reunion some day
I still watch the Random PC series once a year, especially Phantasmagoria around Christmas time (it's become a weird tradition now). Dave and Ian did a lengthy playthrough of Icewind Dale a couple years back. Can't tell you if it's any good. I tried watching a little and it wasn't like the GB videos; way too dry. Not faulting him, as it's just really him playing the game for himself, not other's entertainment. He also streams DOTA sometimes. It's too bad that he got into it right as Brad stopped doing DOTA videos, as we could have had him as a Daily DOTA regular. He also did those annual dad casts on Tested podcast, but I haven't checked recently. So he's still around doing stuff.

Man that's such a bummer. Really wished it could have worked out for him.

Will Smith left Tested.
The mount and blade quicklook was my favorite of his and ended up getting me to sink so many hours into that game D:
I miss when they were in the basement and the guys doing the podcast would get a bit too loud and you would hear Dave yelling back at them. Good times!
Dave Snider... you magic man. We miss you.
I watch that Police Quest Random PC Game video ALL. THE. TIME.
Still makes me laugh so much. A lot of the best archival content on this site features Dave in some capacity.
@omelettefists ... Were you in on something?
Oh god, those were the days
I will often put on a playlist of the "Random PC Game" and other old stuff for background noise if I'm gonna be home all day, it's great for being in a good mello vibe
@csl316: Dave is rad. His jaunt back to the Blade Runner game is still one of my favorite videos on the site.
Everyone here loves Dave. Everyone, god dammit.
i tend to love everyone that people hate and love a little less everyone that people love, but yeah i'll agree to this.
