Games you started and FINISHED in '09.

All the time you hear people say I started playing this game or that game but how often do you hear them say that they actually finished it?

Let's see how many games people in here actually started and finished in this thread for 2009.

My list:

FarCry 2 (360) - Loved it.

Street Fighter 4 (PS3) - Didn't play through as much as I thought I would.

KillZone 2 (PS3) - Loved it.

Call of Duty 3 (PS3) - Felt like an XB1 game to me.

Resident Evil 5 (PS3) - Loved it.

CrackDown (360) - Liked it okay.

Mass Effect (360) - Though it was okay, certainly didn't love it. Doesn't really have me excited for a part 2.

MotorStorm 2 (PS3) - Loved it.

Resistance 2 (PS3) - That it was a pretty fucking poor game...only played single player though.

Dead Rising (360) -  Thought I'd like it better. Poorly designed.

BattleField: Bad Comapny (360) - Pretty good.

Rainbow Six Vegas (PS3) - Thought it pretty much sucked.

Metal Gear Solid 4: GotP (PS3) - Average game...certainly pales in comparison to MGS3.

 Halo 3 (360) - Loved it again.

Prince of Persia (360) - Not bad, got old after a while.

Prof. Layton and the Curious Village (DS) - Pretty good, no rush for part 2.

Halo 3 ODST (360) - Certainly not the best Halo game. Loved FireFight.

Uncharted Drakes Fortune (PS3) - Loved it.

FallOut 3 GotY ED (360) - which I started in October and I'm still playing though it. - Currently loving it.

And that's about it.

You know what? I just realized I never touched my Wii or my PSP this past year...I cannot believe that!

An entire 365 days went by and I never touched those 2 systems. I bought a few games for them but haven't played them yet.

That's kinda sad.

Fallout 3 - Bought it, played for a few hours then put it away. After a month I picked it up again and became totally hooked. After all DLC and main game was finished, my save file stood on 140 hours.
 
Skate 2 - Loved this game, and played for many hours before realizing the first Skate was better.
 
Resident Evil 5 - Played through RE5 multiple times, I really found it awesome. Best co-op experience ever!
 
Half-Life 2  - Most overrated game ever? Might be. Still pretty good, but not the Messiah some people seem to thnk.
 
Half-Life 2 Episode One - A bit better than original game, but still not awesome.
 
Mass Effect (finished it twice this year, but also played through it two times before this year) - This is the best game ever. I've finished it four times, and just before my Xbox broke about two weeks ago, I just began my 
fifth playthrough.
 
Halo 3:ODST - I found the campaign in this one better than every other Halo game. I loved the setting!
 
GTA IV: The Lost and the Damned - Some decent missions in this expansion. Haven't picked up Gay Tony yet though, I'm looking forward to it!
 
Shadow Complex  - I only picked up Super Metroid last year on virtual console, but never finished it. This one though, I played through with 100% of the items in three days. I loved it. Then I played it two times more!
 
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Late to the party, but I really liked the gameplay! I ended up with 1000/1000G, and got me hyped up for the next game!
 
Modern Warfare 2 - Yeah, short and sweet campaign! Loved it, but the real thrill of this game is the awesome multiplayer!
 
Assassin's Creed - Played through it this fall, and it was decent. Loved the style and gameplay, but the missions got really repetetive after a while.
 
Kung Fu Panda - Yeah, I wanted those achievements ^^
 
Batman Arkham Asylum - Same as with Fallout 3, played it a bit at first, but didn't like it. Then I picked it up again after a while and beat it within two sittings. I really liked it!
 
Fable II  - Pretty decent game. Picked it up for 150 SEK (Swedish currency, about 20$), and it was definitly worth that price.

Prince of Persia - Rented this for a week, really easy but really pretty! The ending was awesome!
 
Peggle - Played this to death this year on XBLA.
 
Trials HD - My GOTY. I beat all levels, and then sunk like 100+ hours on the editor. Can't wait to pick up the DLC and play some more when I get my Xbox back!
 
 Oh gosh, noone will probably read all that, but at least that gave me some perspective. Can't believe I played so much this year!

I think I played about a dozen other games but did not finish them. Wolfenstein may also squeeze into 09 if I finish it by tomorrow night.

Wow, nice lists guys.  I haven't played many games this year.  The last game I purchased was Left 4 Dead late last year (when they had that 50% off sale).  I seriously think the only game I started and finished this year was Mass Effect, which I did not enjoy very much.  Most of my game hours were spent playing TF2 or L4D.

Dead Rising is poorly designed, but I love it because of that.
