Australia's government-sponsored ratings board - the one that loves video games so much - has banned Left 4 Dead 2 for everything from excessive gore with melee weapons to the "realistic, frenetic, and unrelenting violence" of the game's infected. Wait until they see a dingo eat their baby.
@Darkstar614: I'm not quite sure, I got that passage straight out of the most recent issue of GameInformer. I'm not sure when you heard that, so we'll just have to wait and see.
No offense to the Australians here, but why in god's name did Yahtzee move to Australia? That place is probably the worst place in the world to be a gamer at this point (second only to Germany).
Man, this sucks. Gamers in Australia are always getting shit on by these fucking censorship fucks. Australian gamers should organize some huge protests, if they are not already.
@funcmode: That sucks to play a toned down version though. The dialouge won't have any swears, and I gurantee all blood and gore will be taken out. That would drive me crazy.
