Spike VGAs 2011 to have 13 exclusive world premieres

What do you think they will be?

Most of these will simply be game trailers:

1. Rainbow Six: Patriots

2. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

3. Bioshock Infinite

4. Alan Wake Sequel

5. New Bioware Game

6. "PS3 exclusive you won't believe." I think the playstation character fighting game

7. Diablo III

8. Metal Gear Solid: Rising

The rest I have no idea. Maybe the Bioshock Infinite video reveal won't be part of the 13. I really hope to see the next Xbox around late 2012 or early 2013 but some of the games that are being released in 2013 like Rainbow Six: Patriots are set for a PS3 and Xbox 360. EA lists a few of there future titles for "Next Gen" but I think they are talking about the Wii U which will be no better then the PS3 and Xbox 360 outside of there exclusives.

Isn't that transmorphers game already out? I swear they played it on TNT. Also how is it a world premiere if we've already seen what Bioshock, MGS Rising and Diablo 3 look like from trailers?
 
They'll premiere TES: Eylweyr developed by Obsidian.

Only reason to record. I'll just skip to the trailers. Not wasting time on the actual awards. They have consistently been not for me.

Surprise! DOTA 2 is actually Half-Life 3, just we don't know it yet...

i don't think valve would announce their biggest franchise at the vga. but i would shit my pants if they did

I would be willing to bet that there will be a new Halo 4 trailer. The first real trailer for Reach (not teaser) was there, so I think it would be believable that Halo 4 will be there too.

I've learned that it's not worth it to actually watch the VGAs or even record and fast forward through the shit for the reveals. Just visit the internet the next day.

@S0mewh4tD4m4ged: The next Xbox will not be out until late 2013 at the earliest. There is no way that they would launch the next Xbox against Halo 4 (360 confirmed). So...yeah, not gonna happen late '12 or early '13.

@wh1terav3n: Although I agree with you completely, I don't think it's ever safe to say something will NOT happen.

The last couple of years, the awards show has been watching for all the great trailers.

Truly, it is the age of exploding desert cars.

I always get excited for the announcements at the VGA's, and I am always disappointed. Hopefully this year will be different.

The BioWare game is apparently a new Command and Conquer game. And Cliffy B was on Twitterbtoday, saying he's going to announce something there. That's all I know, but I'll be watching.

I would be completely fine if the VGAs didn't have these trailers so I could completely ignore it. DAMM YOU MARKETING!

Rising and any of the other reveals are exciting. But really what an awful award show, last year was really bad. How is NPH a better voice actor than the guy who voice John Marston or Nolan North?

Timesplitters 4 or a No Mercy 2 (or remake) or I ain't watching this mediahypefest.

Geoff Keighley just tweeted a PS3 exclusive trailer. Very ambiguous.

There was also another clip if you go to lastofus.com about a fungus that takes over the body of an ant. It's been on Earth and Planet Earth (the documentaries), and I've always thought it to be a pretty intriguing idea. I just hopehopehope it's not another zombie game...

This comes of as really pathetic, they realize that nobody cares about their crappy awards show so they try to wave these trailers infront of our faces in a desperate attempt at getting more viewers.

It's just silly, gaming should avoid the mainstream it's just awkward when they pull stuff like this.

You're joking right? I thought by "new game" they meant SWTOR. Didn't think it would actually be a new game.

For as horribly flippant as that sounds, I'm with you. But of course, if I ever felt up to making the argument, I would argue that Bioware has been making games that haven't appealed to the "hardcore" audience since around Neverwinter Nights, with Dragon Age: Origins being an aberration because of its throwback status. But that is another discussion for another time. I will watch the trailers when they are posted, but there is no way I will sit through the VGA awards.

Probably Episode 3, but there are people saying episode three and HL 3 are the same thing (I think a dev said something like that a while ago or something). We're going to get CS:GO for sure early next year which should be a Source game.

I would hope that it would be both episode 3 and Half Life 3. It's been long enough so that they could release Episode 3 as sort of a prequel a few months before the release of Half Life 3.

F*** Spike VGA tbh. It's all about sponsors and ads. Not worth watching.

That's a decent number of exclusives, it has always been the only thing worth watching the VGAs for though...

Heres hoping for Mirror's Edge 2, something from Far Cry 3, a Halo 4 trailer and maybe something from Gearbox

Oh and I would kill for a No One Lives Forever 3, but that will probably never happen :(

I expect something from Halo 4

It's essentially the only reason I will attempt to watch the show. Honestly, I don't watch television so I'll just wait till the following day to see the trailer... oh and Portal 2's Goty win.

Epic making a new franchise.

The only thing I'd be interested in seeing which I have no clue about is whatever Respawn Entertainment (former Infinity Ward guys) are making and the new Bungie game. I think we have just a blurry screencap from R.E. and all we know from Bungie is that their title is codenamed "Tiger".
