STARTING BOMBER FAN CLUB

hey guys i am thinking of starting a fan club for giant bomb.  I already got one guy on board.  I want to meet once a month and we can watch quicklooks and stuff and have pizza. i have a projector we can use.  After that we can play black ops or something cool.  I am in the Florida area so trying to keep it local. 
 
I was even thinking that if we get enough people... like 100-200... we can once a year maybe fly to salsalito to see meet Jeff, Ryan, Brad, and Vinny.   
 
Let me know if anyone is interested.

I legitimately thought it was for the CFL team the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.  Reflecting I can't believe that's what I was expecting, but I clicked to declare my intentions of starting a rival Rider Nation fan club.  Too bad.

Uuummmmm seriously? I mean you can go ahead and do that, but yeah... we already have forums where there are enough people already talking about sleeping with the GB crew.

Last night I couldn't sleep cause I was so excited about this and coming up with it.  The quote below kept going through my head:

I mean yea, isn't the fan club already here on the forums n stuff? I mean it could be kinda cool to organize local events, have like Giant Bomb meet ups around the country and stuff, post picture on the boards

Why would I waste time, flying to whatever basement you live in to watch Quick Looks and eat pizza? I can do that at my apartment.

Yea Okay there Buffalo Bill. Ya got some of us once. We're not falling for it again.

Well I don't live in Florida, but I would totally fly to the meeting.

Ok guys so just a quick update:
 
There are now 5 official members.  2 guys I met on neogaf, myself and my brother and cousin.  
 
I want to assign rank to help motivate people to join, so the sooner you join the higher your rank.  We are looking for officers right now to fill the ranks so get in as soon as possible!
 
Now, onto the really meaty news.  One of the guys says he knows Jeff from back in the day and that if this thing got big enough he could probably ask Jeff to make a PERSONAL appearance at like our main annual meeting.  That would be really cool.   
 
Next I am trying to get sponsors on board like Razer mice and logitech and maybe even Sony and Microsoft.  See if they are willing to put up some swag like shirts and mousepads and stuff for our LAN parties as prizes.  I actually just recieved a reply from the company "Bawls" that makes an energy drink geared towards gamers.  They said they would "like more information" and are "interested".     
 
So that's all for now fellow bombers!  I will try to keep updating as we start to really put this thing together.

I can't get the image of 200 GiantBomb fanboys turning up outside Whiskey Media in GB t-shirts waiting patiently out of my head! It's like Shaun of the Dead. Well it isn't. But the pub scene came to mind!

First meeting will be at my house but in the future would like to rent a place that we can.

Feb 19th.  Saturday.  
 
For the first meeting I am going to provide all the food and beverages as sorta a welcoming gift.  we will have pizza and I will get candy and stuff and some energy drinks.  
 
ALSO.  One member has suggested a good idea.  We are  going to be showing 1 episode of the persona endurance run at the beginning of each meeting.  After that we will do a few recent quick looks and then start the LAN party.
