I'd like to make a suggestion that the GB Store should add some winter suitable hats in addition to the caps currently available, but firstly I think the naming issue (as discussed on various podcasts) needs to be settled once and for all.

As a kid we called them "stocking caps" (of course that was forty years ago). Now I just call it a hat. How often do you need to know what kind of hat you're talking about? "Beanie" sounds stupid. Your "bean" is your head, so calling a hat a "beanie" is like calling it a "headie." ... and a beanie a dumb hat with a propeller in it like Calvin is wearing (above).
